Brand Identity Design

The Problem

Camia J approached me in need of a visual brand identity for their beauty

and fashion brand which as a business will grow to encompass clothing,

cosmetics and false eyelashes, appealing to women, while having a

secondary target audience of men too.

With the beauty market being saturated and many start-up beauty

brands, which Camia J would be competing against, having very similar

brand images, we needed to find a way to encompass the brand values,

feel appropriate and fit into the market while still being identifiable.





The Solution

After a discovery call with the client, gathering research on the visual

landscape that the Camia J brand was entering into and presenting the

client with 3 different concepts to gauge the creative direction that she

would like to pursue, I developed the following brand identity.

Supporting icons and colours allow the visual branding to cater to both

the male and female target audience without feeling disjointed.
